The Server Trash Bin serves as a temporary holding area for deleted items. It allows users to review and manage deleted projects, datasets, and workspaces before permanently removing or restoring them. This ensures data is not accidentally lost and provides a second chance to recover items when needed.
Prevent Data Loss: Temporarily store deleted items to avoid accidental permanent deletion.
Enable Recovery: Restore deleted items if needed.
Facilitate Cleanup: Permanently delete unneeded items to free up storage space.
Access the Server Trash Bin page in Supervisely to view all deleted items.
The interface displays details such as name, type, size, and user.
Review the list to identify items you want to recover or permanently delete.
Pay attention to the Size column to locate large files.
Select the checkbox next to the item(s) you want to restore.
Click the Restore button (blue button in the top-right corner) to recover the selected items.
Select the checkbox next to the item(s) you want to remove permanently.
Click the Delete Forever button (red button in the top-right corner).
Confirm the action in the dialog box to ensure intentional deletion.
Use the User column to track who deleted specific items.
Review timestamps to confirm when items were removed.
Review before deleting: Always double-check items in the trash before clicking "Delete Forever."
Use restore carefully: Ensure the restored items are necessary to avoid clutter.
Schedule regular cleanup: Periodically clear the trash bin to free up storage space.
Collaborate with team members: Coordinate deletions and restorations within teams.
